Here's some pic's of the watch that I found in a woods attached to a park on January 14th. It was probaby 10 inches down underneath leaves and 3 inches of snow. It gave a high reading in the 80's and was a faint target to begin with but once I cleared the snow and leaves it VDI'd a good solid 89 repeatedly. This is the first winter that I've hunted in the snow with the D2 coil and I must say it's awesome, I use to always use the Super 12 but I've laid it to rest for a while.

I have always wanted to find a pocket watch. I found some of the guts to one once, but never the case, face or the crystal. Looks like the case cleaned up pretty well. Very nice find!!!

Very cool find!!

What a difference after you cleaned it up. Very nice find. Have you checked the serial number to see when it was made? Keep us posted and thanks! HH, Nancy

Nice oldie that you found ..Cograts !!

Glad that you got out to hunt in the snow. Did you find anything else ?

The snow is gone here and I plan on hunting Sunday, its raining today, but tomorrow, they say 60 deg..
I have a new D-2 coil and will have to try it out.....

I like your watch, my Dad had one just like yours, I saw some in a pawn shop the other day, they were $200 to $400...
