Way to go Dude! I'm an nEwTRAC'r my self only 2 1/2 weeks myself. I had the Xterra 70 and loved it but this Etrac is a Beast... I'm running 2TF myself and I am amazed with the separation this thing has... Congrats on the silver...

Thanks fella's that etrac is really well made and just feels right in your hand ya know, seems like every time you turn it on you know you'll have success, plus im TOTALLY diggin the carbon fiber lower shaft section...

So today i got a SunRay X-5 Stealth coil and a Garrett pro pointer, Lesche and Minelabe diggers... decided against the sunray probe so i can use the Garret with my other detector... what an awesome hobby and the members are really helpful and incouraging .... FREAKIN rain tomorrow, i need to come up with a waterproof/ rainproof cover (that still enables ya to see the screen) for the etrac box and go for it. that is the only down fall i have of the etrac is the screen is a little hard to see sometimes...not a bad trade off for the performance...

Well i just tried a Ziplock quart freezer bag and it really fits tight and will work perfect for the rain, at least the rain we have here in Cali... light stuff....
