Old Church site

The site was a old historical Church I used to live near and hunted some about 10 yrs ago. The Church has not been used since the early 80's but dates back to the early 1800's. It has a open parking that I think the local kids hang out after dark so I expected junk in the parking lot. It turned out to be a nice hunt and one of our best cool days in a long hot summer.

HH Rick

totals:
36 quarters (1 silver 1963)
8 dimes (3 silver rosie's 1947,50,and 52)
6 pennies (no Wheaties)

That's a lot of diggin

Nice hunt. Congrat's for saving the silver!

Thats a nice haul, bet there are some 1800s coins still there.

I can't believe I never found anything older, but its not far from the city. More than likely its been pounded hard more than once and its a small area.

Four silver and a ton of clad Quarter's - that's a real nice hunt Rick !
