It reluctantly is giving up some good coins. HI, all. Have had my E-Trac for four weeks now and really feel comfortable with it. I've been hunting this 100 year old park about 20 miles from my house and keep pulling a few good coins out every time I hit it. Today, I dug about thirty coins, two of which are old. I didn't even realize I had a shield nickle until I got it home and cleaned it up. I dug three nickles and none were over three inches deep. The unfortunate thing, as with many old nickels, the side facing "up" is heavily corroded. It happend to have been the side with the date, so I can't tell how old it is. The dime was only about five inches deep and is a nice 1906 O, and rates a VG as far as condition. I"m really sold on the E-Trac for coin hunting older sites. Will have to wait and see how it does for relics.
Thanks for looking and keep on diggin'

PS: Using the Andy Sabisch coin mode, Auto +3 in the trashier areas, with manual 26-28 in less trashy areas. Four tones. Conduct. High Trash. Hich Density. Really like the four tones over the multi tones.
