Old Parks...................

Took a short trip to a park that wasn't too far.
Had found a lot of silver there in the past.
My hopes were to find a silver, even if just a Rosie,I never dreamed of finding a seated, which i greatly
am fond of.I had never found one at this particular park.
It was a five hour hunt and i only covered about half of the half of the park i was at,not a full town block.
I finally got a signal i was hoping was silver, very deep, right at pegged out on the depth scale.
I played with it for a bit, kept getting 12-45,11-44 45,and got a 46 one time which surprises me because of the depth and wear on the coin.
Ended up being somewhere around 10 or 11 inches, I finally saw the Reed-ed edge of a dime size coin.
It was gray in color so i knew it had to be old.
I was greatly surprised it was a seated. Very worn, but still a seated
It was to be the only silver of the day,but a good one!
Three of the wheats were found here, the other two and the rest of the stuff were from three previous hunts.
Best of luck.

awesome!! ANY seated is a GREAT find.......

Glad you proved me correct  .Just shows how slow and low will pay off on those ultra deep goodies,Congratulations:thumbup:

Sweet Seated........no matter what condition it's in!!! Hawkeye Jim.

Lovely seated, at the end of the day it makes it all worth while. 11 inches nice job!

Very nice Bob,

Congrats on the find  I will take the advise you gave me earlier in my post and "amp it up" in the old park we've been working hard for the last two years. I just don't know what half of the half of the park I want to start in. Maybe I'll scale back and only do the front right quarter of the park. :poke: JK... Thx for the post,

The area i covered i measured on Google earth.
I covered about a 36 yard wide by 80 yard long area.

Excellent haul. Are you running hot in this park? Just curious! Thanks again for the tip earlier.

Yep ,Running a simple program with less disc, simply 28 and below masked out thats it.
Sens at 29 manual, trash density low, fast and deep off, gain maxed, i just search till i find a target then
really go over it slowly to get the id numbers i am looking for,but if it sounds good i dig it anyways.
