Got permission to hunt an old school, was told i could go ahead and look
but it had been hunted by some real professionals.
Found four wheats,1944,1944D,1936D,1951.
Found a 1902 injun trying to hide at about 8 inches.
Then a medical button of some sort.
Raymo called and i headed up to where he was hunting.
I found some clad there,he found some silvers,I couldn't seem to find one.
But i am learning more all the time!

Nice finds. The button may be a collar or lapel button from the US Army Medical department. You may want to google that for more info. HH.

Nice hunt, Bob.
Here in S. Cal, an injun is more sought after than a rosie or a merc. It's a really good hunt when you uncover a turn of the century coin at 8" from turf previously hunted by so called "Professionals".

Congrats,
