Wow!! I was out yesterday to a yard in town, powerlines overhead, wires everywhere. The Omega is right up there with it's brothers the T-2 and the F-Series Fishers as far as BAD EMI problems!!! I had to run the sens at 30 just to hunt the yard I was in. I put up with it for about an hour, then I switched over to the G2......At FULL gain, quiet as a mouse!!! Last week when I was huntingin a field in the country, the Omega was quiet as a mouse in the relic fields. Just goes to show that you really do need two machines to "Multi Hunt" That is why I really don't like to hunt yards and parks in town!!!! We have a big snow storm coming thru tomorrow, so it will be awhile until I get out to the field again with the Omega, but, I gotta tell ya, I really don't think the Omega will EVER measure up to the G-2 or GBSE as far as performance goes. I mean, why spend over $800 for a machine that you have to hunt with lowered sens? Example, the T-2 LTD or F-75 LTD. I've hunted with both and it is just stupid to have to run 40 on sens in the "Boost" process mode just to get the depth of a "Regular" T-2 or F-75....
