Daryl wanted a hunting partner so I gracefully accepted. After $2.14 in clad coins I still didn't have any coin older than a 1960 nickel. But I did rescue a sterling silver earing, old ornate strap buckle and a 1926 Putnam Co. Dog Tag. I went home happy.

Steve, thanks for going along today. Had a good time even if the old coins were not showing up. I ended up at my local park this evening and found a few more. A pocket full of clad, two wheaties, and I beat your 1926 date with a 1919 mercury dime. Theres still some silver in the little park. Daryl
 
I like the dog tag too, always fun to find.
