Park Hunt

I headed to a park to do some hunting and to enjoy the great autumn day we had here in the heart of Ohio. My favorite find of the day was an ornate 1933 Worlds Fair Chicago token. It appears to be a penny that was flattened and engraved in one of those penny pressing machines. It is a pretty cool and unexpected find. I dug two Indian Head cents - 1898 & 1903. I found my first ever silver war nickel, a 1943P. It registered as a 12-15 on my E-trac. I dug a deep, high toned target that turned out to be a 1904 Barber dime. It wasn't a bad wheat day either. Got six of those. Oh, I also found a skull ring...which seems appropriate for the month of October. heh-heh The hunt was a good time. Happy Hunting!

Here are my finds - including the trash.

Congratulations-Nice weather, nice finds, great coins.

If you don't mind I would like to request you share something I'm seeing in your video we are missing back here in central Illinois.

MOISTURE- we have not had a measurable rain fall here in weeks (farmers are loving it, great for harvests) and old mother earth is getting hard as a rock and we are getting to the point we don't dare dig in parks, boulevards, or school yards for fear of being run off because of leaving big brown spots. They say we have a chance of rain latter this week, but they said that for two other days last week and nothing materialized. These October Weather temperatures are perfect, mid 60's low 70's, and the wife and I are just dying to get out. Sure hope the rains come soon.
