I headed to a park to do some hunting and to enjoy the great autumn day we had here in the heart of Ohio. My favorite find of the day was an ornate 1933 Worlds Fair Chicago token. It appears to be a penny that was flattened and engraved in one of those penny pressing machines. It is a pretty cool and unexpected find. I dug two Indian Head cents - 1898 & 1903. I found my first ever silver war nickel, a 1943P. It registered as a 12-15 on my E-trac. I dug a deep, high toned target that turned out to be a 1904 Barber dime. It wasn't a bad wheat day either. Got six of those. Oh, I also found a skull ring...which seems appropriate for the month of October. heh-heh The hunt was a good time.
Happy Hunting!
