Well finally got my first Indian today an 1892!!! WOOHOOO even tho i have only found 2 1800's coins it is a TOTAL rush when it happens, my favorite metal detecting finds are old coins... I obtained permission to hunt a VERY old home (1892 same year as the Indian), in Lincoln and got it there along with a couple wheaties and memorials. I have only covered a very small portion of the property and cant wait to continue grid-ding the rest of it..

I got the Merc in a park up in Oroville when i was there taking care of my mom and the two Rosies came from local OLD ball fields.... SORRY for the CRAPPY iPhone photos, didn't want to drag out the DSLR's for nothing really special.. I save those shots and work for key dates and seateds!!!

That is really cool. Wish I could find more Injuns!
Thanks for posting,
Bunker

Congrats on getting some oldies, I have to say that is the first time I have seen anyone post a penny trifecta with a memorial :clapping:

Goes4ever,
Thanks buddy...Better chances of finding a gold coin here in Nor Cal than a large cent or flying eagle, plus figured it add a little humor!!!

The Indian looks awesome but you gotta' love the silver.... Congrats
