Hello everyone, Can anyone point me in the right direction for finding maps of Columbia County, New York other than the ones on Historic map works?

Have you tried your library, court house or historical society for plat books and atlases?

Oh yea! That was one of my first endeavors. I live in a little hick town in upstate ny. Our library just recently got Internet.lol. and has a limited selection of area history. Funny thing is we have a local historic society that must be run by volunteers because the only way to contact them is through an email address that nobody seems to want to answer. I have been through hundreds of area maps and have been very successful in finding old cellar holes but am always looking for more......Thanks!

Great forum here, I am learning alot.
I am looking for anything I can find on Lincoln County Oregon as well as anything I can find on Forts or Camps along the Oregon Coast from French trapper times through WWII.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
