Pro Pointer

My Pro Pointer was holstered on my side yesterday and I took a oops into a stream. I got up and out as quick as I could. It took a fast submerge but I was somewhat confident that it would survive. Checked it out today and all is A-OK!
I did have a couple wraps of quality electrical tape to cover the opening for the audio.
My detector and headphones seem to have survived also. I took the worst part of it all myself and probably looked like a squirming banshee critter trying to get up out of the drink and playing it off - I know 3 folks saw it:blink:
Anyway - Pro Pointer survived a drink and it still keeps ticking - I mean buzz-in and a vibrating:beers:

Yeah it will survive a pretty good dunking. You're home safe. It's pretty close to waterproof but Garrett won't committ to that.

I've been around here a couple years and do very little posting, mostly listening. But I have to agree with everyone about how impressed I am with my pro pointer.
My poor old vibra-probe is strictly a back up unit now.
