Problem with my Killer "B" Wasps and the Etrac:help:

I had the Killer B's on my Etrac 2 years ago and then I bought the V3i which I recently sold. I just got the Etrac again:clapping: but am having trouble with hearing anything through the Wasps.

I tried a different set of phones and I get sound through the headphone jack, so the problem is not there. They worked before I put them up in the closet for the long winter nap.

I tried the flip switches on the headphones and can't get any sound out of them either and also tried them on the wife's Ace 250.

Can anyone tell me the position you have your switches in? I have tried flipping this way and that, but maybe I got to frustrated and didn't get one of them set right.

Thanks in advance for any input

May i ask why you sold etrac then v31 and repurchased the etrac?I am trying to find a cheap gold detector since the etrac misses certain types of gold and dont want to buy another high end md.Just trying to get opinion from someone who has used both? Thanks charlie

Did you say that they do work on the Ace 250 now? If they work on the 250 but not the Etrac, I would say it's problably just a switch setting. If they don't work on either the 250 or the Etrac, I would say it's a connection somewhere in the headphones, either the connector or the switch probably.

Sorry for chiming in on this thread i should have opened a new one. Please delete above post charlie

They don't work on the Ace 250.

Looks like a trip back to the manufacturer.

At least they are under warranty being that I'm the original purchaser.

Greedykind,

No problem chiming in and apology accepted for going off topic.

I did send you a PM and hope it answers your question.

They have a lifetime warranty send them in. Turn both switchs down and try them first. Turn up volume knobs. I'm sure you have tried all this but if nothing works send them back. HH :minelab:

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I did try that, but wanted to make sure I wasn't doing something different than I used to. I just found it weird that they didn't work from pulling them off the wall hanger. I've got them boxed up and ready for their return, just didn't want to send them out if there wasn't anything wrong with them.
