Hi everyone,
I had secured permission to hunt the sidewalk strip of a house that was built in 1904. The strip is about 15' wide by 75' long. Most of the coins were 5" to 6" deep. The Buffalo Nickel was hiding down at the 8" mark.
Here is what I ended up with:
(3) Wheats--'53-S; '57; '58-D
Dateless Buffalo
'58 Jefferson
'59-D Rosie--sandwiched between the '57 Wheat and a '63-S Memorial
'36 Washington
A couple of interesting buttons (both in the same hole)
(7) Memorials
and the usual miscellaneous odds & ends.
All in all, a pretty productive sidewalk strip.
Thanks for looking and good luck on your next hunt!
