I played a little with recovery speed adjustment on beach targets. I am looking for a way to have targets sound longer than they do - like smooth mode on the CTX. I tend to run high gain where you start to hear the random noise signals. Problem is that target sounds are same pitches and duration - sometimes same amplitude sometimes louder. I’m wondering if I’m setting up the audio wrong - I never have messed with the headset gain. Would increasing it and backing off on detector volume give more dynamic range? How do you guys adjust recovery speed, sensitivity, and volume levels?

). Some of these nickels were close to holes where others had been there before me. Stick with the EQ, slow down, keep that coil flat on the sand and listen for those deep targets that at first barely sound off but should stop you dead in your tracks to recheck. HH
