Road tripped to St.Louis to raid some parks for some silver deepies. Plucked out an 1829 capped bust dime!!:surprised:

right in ...and I mean right in.... the trash at some of these pounded sites. I don't have much luck researching for new sites...but I have no problem being persistant and sniffing through the trash.

and then some more hands...but it found it's way under my coil almost 180 years later...plenty worn...but I'll take her.

Congratulations Bryce, An SE in the hands of a skilled hunter is a deadly weapon.

5 hours to hunt once I got there...but man was it fun. I'll try and plan more in advance next time and maybe you can come along.

I had an excellent time hunting with Bryce and hope to do it again real soon. I personally had a great day and found a St. Louis City lunch token and 27 cents in clad change :beers:
I sent the wife to our local quick trip with the 27 cents I found to buy some bread we were out of. She came home with two slices because they would not accept 4 badly corroded and bent zinc cents I found. Today I went to a St. Louis City school to cash in my lunch token for a free lunch I found. They refused and said it was expired by decades and directed me to the local food pantry :ranting: Sometimes when you get totally smoked MDing, you just can't win  Then I walked nineteen miles home carring my MDing dousing rods. HH all...

silver quarter...among other things that YOU found. Man that was a fun day. We definately need to do it again some time...but ONLY if you pack me TWO of those sandwiches! That was the best sandwich I've had in a long time! Gotta' run to work but just caught your post as I was leaving. I'm still laughing.

just gave off a chirp and I mean the slightest of chirps...BUT it was a nice high pitched chirp and it repeated at all angles around the target. The other 9 out of 10 times it might have been a piece of iron...but this time I was rewarded....and again...the chirp did repeat at all angles.
