Road tripped to St.Louis to raid some parks for some silver deepies. Plucked out an 1829 capped bust dime!!:surprised:

GREAT find Bryce  i scored an 1835 capped bust dime myself just this past fall...welcome to the bust club buddy good job man:cheers:

Nice story..great find, and once again..you prove in the hands of a skilled hunter the Minelabs produce awsome finds....
Congratulations Bryce !!

once the weather changes for the better. It was really a good time...and even though the sites have been thoroughly pounded...ther's still stuff mixed in the trash. Dang...you must have been doin' some serious back post reading to dig this one out...but it sure brings back a great memory.

pretty neat old parks to hunt in St. Louis. If it wasn't such a long drive and gas wasn't so expensive:thumbdown:...I'd head that way more often.

there is still a lot of stuff amidst the trash which calls for a much smaller coil. Anyone who thinks just going down to an 8" coil will do the trick...is leaving a lot of silver in the ground. The 8" coils are great...and I use one at times...but they don't get them all.

Fantastic hunt Bryce!

That's a great old coin eh!:clapping:

:twodetecting:

memorial cents in one outing before...but it was crazy. A clad dime deeper than a Barber dime...the Barber dime at the same depths as some of the memorial pennies??:surrender::surrender:

finding everything while sifting through the trash. It was just a rewarding day and neat to pop out a 7" plug...then see silver right in the hole with a tab..nail or other piece of trash.
