My dad and I went out to a local pool last weekend, and guess what I found. A 1962 10K gold class ring!!!! There aren't any stones or anything on it, but it was still worth the thirty seconds it took to get it out of the ground.
I'm really lucky that I didn't scatch or damage it. I had to use one of those old two-foot tall Army issued shovels. The ring was only about 4 inches down, but trucks and whatnot had made the dirt rock solid.
By the way, I used my Garrett Ace 250 and Garrett Pro Pointer to find it.
Of course, my dad, being the way he is, said it was all bent and cracked. He just can't handle when I find something more valuable than all the money he found in one day.($2.50)
Last weekend was also the first time I found more money than my Dad in one day.
