After getting some hints from a fellow detectorist last Saturday, I was able to remember the Minelab Whisper Speak and find this little bit of silver, i can't believe the shape of the 43 Merc... it must have been dropped in 1943!!!

You have now attained "stud-muffin" status, for learning the Explorer "fluty tooty".

I'll be in Sacramento on 4/18, for a business meeting. It should be over by 2pm or so, if you still wanted to hook up and go over some flagged signals somewhere.
