Scoop/handle for air travel?

utmike

Well-known member
I'd be grateful to hear advice on scoop & handle suggestions for air travel. I'm leaning towards CKG but am all ears for suggestions.

Thanks!

I sold my large scoop, then found the one I bought for my wife(who will never use it) anyway hers is a small scoop and I put on a handle that will store easily in my RV. I used a expandable paint stick that can be found at a big box lumber store, designed an insert and her it is.the handle screws in and is removable

That's really ingenious, thank you.

I've used a RTG 6 inch travel scoop in a suitcase for years. Their model number RTGBBtv6. I don't like the 5/8 inch holes because some of the pull tabs go through them in the water. RTG has a newer design called the blade that has 9/16 inch holes that should solve most of that issue.

Thanks, I really appreciate the info.

Some of the best scoops imo are made and sold by Reill’s treasure gold RTG in Florida
