Scored a nice Barber DIme at lunch today!

Went for a quick hunt at lunch time today at the local fairgrounds. I have found 3 Mercury dimes there this past year. Decided to try a different area today and was rewarded in less than 10 minutes. Was hunting in TTF because of all the iron. It was about 5-6 inches down and was giving a little bounce 9-44 to 14-44 This is silver no. 34 for the year and my first barber dime. Thanks for looking and Good Luck on your next hunt !

Awesome Barber! That's a nice one for your first! I don't see how you can go at lunch, find a nice Barber, and then go back to work! I would not make it back, and if I did I would be no good to anyone! Congrats on your first Barber!

SWEET barber...very nice, congratulations! looks like it was dropped in the 20's, that seems like a place worth spending some time at.

Yeah...I was so distracted at work, intent on taking off early, I totally blew off a meeting I had in another town...I was ten minutes late calling the meeting to order! Going back tomorrow though! Amazing how one small coin can influence your whole day...Yup, it's an addiction I call "Metal Detectasia" :stars:

That Barber's in excellent condition - congrats !

that is a great lunch, not very filling but who cares about eating when those silvers are still in the ground ? Congrats on the first Barber Dime. P.S. I need a lunch like that.

Nice lunch find!! Tha dime is in great shape.

Our one fairground has been taken in and fenced off by a local university, so enjoy your access.
