Seated Love Token, 3 More Indians, and a Musket Ball...

Hello all!

Its was a long hunt yesterday at the old foundation and I did not think I was going to get out... 3pm... I was thinking about going out... 4pm... hmmm... still a few hours of light left....

OK... 4:15 head out to a spot that has yielded some older goodies (1800s)... I arrive 15-20 minutes later to find this site teaming with activity... I realy did not want to go back to a park as I wanted some older targets...

I headed to a park that I score Indians at pretty well... but felt like I've worked it pretty well... but hoped that I perhaps missed one...

I hunted for 90 minutes...

Musket ball was out 1st 3 minutes after arriving...

I found the first Indian Head withing 7-9 minutes @ 6-7"...

10 minutes later... and only 4" down...

Next up was a 12/42 12/43 signal... 5" range... I was thinking wheatie but hoping for a thin dime...

I was thrilled to see a seated dime in great shape... then I flipped it over... LOVE TOKEN !!!! My first... I was doing a happy dance...

20 minutes later... this one was an iffy signal... but I thought Indian... This is my 25th for the year... Matchng my total of IH's from last year...

I'm glad the guy who made it a token didn't drill the hole in the lady's head ,nice job on the engraving also .All great stuff you found Paul . Just once I would like to find an Indian in half as good a shape those two beauties are .I've found very few and they have all been pretty thrashed ( still a great thrill to find though) . Excellent hunt good thing you decided to go .

I've been really lucky this year with my Indians... as we've all dug plany of you can barely tell its an Indian forgettabout a date pitted versions... Most of my 25 have come from 3 locations... So I'm just lucky with the soin from those locations...

and I agree... any Indian is a thrill to find if you live on this side of the pond :)

Thank you... HH!
