Short park hunt nets semi key buffalo

went to the park after work today to dig iffy stuff, this place is small but old and has given up some keepers. Got a semi deep 01-12 from two directions on my etrac and about 6" down I got this
1931-S buffalo, semi key date. I removed the coin from the hole and then flipped it into quick mask open screen and there was no other metal in the hole, that is the second nickel this year I have dug at 01-12
Only other decent finds were two wheats

That's a nice find which is worth more than the average Buffalo Nickel. Congratulations. You can
receive a sometimes wide range of ferrous numbers on a nickel, especially an older one.

Nice find Terry. You are on fire lately!!!

Bunker

Trying to think back about seeing those numbers and don't recall seeing them much at all. But I do like to dig low conductors that end with 11,12,13, and 14 so I might have dug it :detecting: Love finding buffalos. Nice find!

Good one Terry !
