For hard dry clay ground a shovel is not very effective. I have had better use with a heavy pick hoe. You have to dig a wide hole to not damage the ta
Glad to hear it, my barracuda should be here tomorrow....I like predator use to use Lesche but the predator brand is hands down a better made shovel

you will absolutely like the predator betterGlad to hear it, my barracuda should be here tomorrow....
The lesche will bend and for me are too short the predators are built better notice where the blade and handle attach much stronger designI am expecting I will, the Lesche has been great and has been all it was expecdted to be, just outgrew it I guess.... It has been rugged and reliable up until now its too bad it got sold and from what I can gather the new owners have changed materials and they are not holding up as well as the old ones.... My old Lesche will find a home around my wife's flower beds.
its funny never had a lesche last that long a predator will last me about 3 years as I dig in a lot of rocky soilThe Predator Tools Barracuda showed up today. Very impressed with the build quality and gauge of metal used in the digging end of things.....I ordered with footpads as many times I am hunting with lightweight shoes that have thin soles. Well built and glad I did it as the not only raise the foot up about an inch or so, they are wider than the steel shovel step they bolt to so even easier on the foot, although they add additional weight to the package, but I seldom hunt for more than a couple hours at a time so the added weight is a non-factor to me...
Glad I made this purchase and would certainly recommend Preator Tools to anyone.... Similar build quality to my 10+ year old school Lesche, but longer so it will fit better..
