Silver and gold

quicksilver

New member
Got out today at the beach, on lake Erie. Incredibly warm this time of year for Michigan. Thanks for looking.

The smaller one is 10 k, and the bigger one is 925. No ice on the water, since I been here it's actually been in the 40s.

I almost didn't dig that 10k, I learned anlesson yesterday about gold rings, on my nox it rang in at a +1 vdi. My lesson was that gold will hit almost anywhere. I love the nox.....]

Nice finds !!

Hope that good weather keeps up for you.

There are no rules where targets will hit, you won because you were in the zone to dig. Was the id low out of the ground, ie air test?

HH Jeff

I think I the wet sand it was like a +3 to +6 and an air test o the counter showed a +1. When I'm on the beach I hunt in beach 2, sensitivity 18-20, tones 2, recovery 2, iron bias 0, ground tracking off. The nox definitely hits small targets, definitely deep, I go at the beach just like I would a civil war site, hunt in 2 tone and start digging.
