Big Fang Coin Biter

I got into a farm house yard, super nice owners. I dug the SLQ first at about an inch by a huge tree. Then next was the Barber and Canadian (1900) dimes. What a great start - only three passes. I ended up with some wheats and clad but the good finds sort of dried up. Oh, I found a junk jewelry pin and a tiny, but heavy, Buda. Pictured is some sort of stopper or bottle cap? It has a rubber washer attached to other side. Is this an old pop bottle cap? It says Boston AJ Tower Co. Any ideas?
The owner came out after a short time and gave me four big coins from Mexico! He said I should take them since he keeps them in a box and never does anything with them. What a nice guy. It was super weather and great fun to get out and dig.
