Nice!

When did that slope go into operation? (Wondering how long the SLQ was held on to.)

Nice result George, a good silver result for sure !:clapping:

The ski area started around 1940 but there was an even older area above this one and the road leading to the oldest area ran right through this ski area so there is a good possibility of older coins. They charged fifty cents for lift tickets or something cause I have found ALOT of fifty cents pieces. I have taken 60 some silvers off this hill. This is one of the halfs next to a morrile mushroom on the mountain. HH George In Colorado

thanx for the pix and post. When driving through State-line CA/Nevada, I've always wondered if there wouldn't be good spring/summer detecting at some of the older resorts. But then I think "nah, certainly droves of hunters have already pounded them". There are actually smaller bunny-slope defunct lifts at various spots around stateline CA/NV, that one can see as they drive around. I guess your finds show that either you found one others hadn't thought to work already, or ..... "they didn't get it all" :)

That is some great stuff. I am sure you love the sound ............
