SLQ and a couple dimes

Cruffler

Member
Found these a couple weeks ago. Been too hot since then to have any fun.
Has to be the most worn SLQ I've found. The Rosie took a oil/tar bath as it was
found on the side of a gravel road. Need the weather to cool off a bit so I can get
out before I forget what high tone silver sounds like.

Nice finds!
Yeah, most of those dug up SLQs have a lot of miles on them. Its still silver though.
But thats nothing, i dug up what looked like a silver bingo chip..... turned out to be a completely smooth Barber dime on one side.

Nice finds. Thanks for the pictures.

good stuff.....!!!!! Take some rubbing alcohol or maybe some fingernail polish remover to that rosie....might help get that tar off....?????

I love seeing someone find an SLQ!

I've only found one in my 20 years of detecting.

CONGRATULATIONS!
