Small Cache Found with E-Trac

I have only had my E-Trac for a couple of weeks now and I have been studying it faithfully . I am slowly starting to get use to a little bit . This past weekend I was detecting in my own back yard and came across a small cache . The funny thing is I have been over this same area many times with my other detector and never found a thing. I felt like i had hit the jackpot

Thats a tons a fun! Wonder if any other cashes are hidden around there or do you think a kid burried his piggy bank? Was there any thing in the hole that held all those coins?

I have been wondering the same thing myself. If it was someone's cache or a kid's piggy bank. The coins at one time had been wrapped up in some sort of cloth because you could still see some small strings laying around inside the hole. The house that was on the land previous was built from the best I can tell around 1901 or 1902 . I think that when they tore the old house down to build the one we live in now they buried a lot of it because I have found bricks and old wiring and and things like that.

Sweet!!! The coin with the question marks appears to be a Roman coin Nice haul.

It was a little over 100 coins. I keep finding more coins scattered around the same area. I just found a 1906 Indian cent about 2 feet away about 5 inches down
