Stanley car token

I found this in an old yard yesterday. Obviously it depicts a stanley automobile, and has the year 1908 on it My question for the group....is it a token from that time, or am I right that it is most probably a token from the 60s or 70s from some gas station company. I have not seen one before, so can anyone help me ID it. I didin't find it online, exept for one ebay ad, and that didn't say much.

Does not have the look of the Shell tokens of cars that came out in 70's those tokens were aluminum and had there name on the reverse, what is the token made of?

I found a site that said that the 1968 SUNOCO set had a 1908 Stanley Steamer token in it.

That's precisely what it is. Mt dad was a mechanic for Sunoco and he used to bring these home for me to collect. Don't tell him, but I somehow managed to lose my collection...
