Had another fun day. Ist pic shows a silver cross and a miraculous conception Charm. Obviously pulled them out of the same hole and was surprised with a 10-34 reading. I attempted to get the makers mark in pic 2. It shows a somewhat oval indent with a Male's head with short curly hair facing left. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out the year it was made and haven't figured it out yet. The charm in pic 3 also has a makers mark that I attempted to show. It looks like two small circles joined together with two people. Anyways, I couldn't figure out that makers mark either to get a year. All the silver religious items I've found in the past were always marked .925. Being that I'm hunting around a circa 1820's house, I'm thinking these might be old. The 4th and 5th pic show what I believe is an old brass two piece New Orleans Police Dept. button. Says City of New Orleans on the front and has a "Waterbury..." benchmark. The last pic shows some lead, bullets, a 1941 penny, clad, washers and two of those darn aluminum mardi gras doubloons (hate those things). Let you all know if I find anything else interesting.
Good luck at your sites,
