~Stunning 1891 Indian..silver..Old Sterling ring~

Friday I worked half a day and headed out door knocking with NoNickels. We stopped at an old one room school house that has been converted into a house. We asked permission and the owner said it has been hunted many times, and we said that doesn't scare us, can we please try our luck. He said you can have "one hour" ...lol
Ok good enough for me, better than a "NO"

I ended up with 2 wheats, a 1903 and 1905 indian. Not bad for an hour at a Hunted hard place.

We stopped at another farm and only old coin was the STUNNING 1891 indian, that was worth knocking for.

House #3 I got a rosie, some wheats, and clad.

Saturday I went hunting with DiggerDan, and we hit a couple old houses
House #1 I got only clad and wheats
House #2 I got wheats, a silver rosie and clad

before we called it quits for the day we hit an old ballfield I have done well at in the past. I cranked up the sensitivity in manual and away I went. First dig was the silver war nickel. Then I get this DEEP 01-41 signal on the etrac. I was expecting an old wheat, it was at the bottom of the depth meter. So I cut a large plug and a good 8" down was this old sterling ring. What a nice surprise.

Somewhere, somehow I lost my pill bottle I carry my wheats in, I dug about 10 wheats saturday and it is just gone. I hope a kid finds it, will make his day, wheats mean nothing to me, so I am just thankful it wasn't my silver pill bottle.....lol

This may be my last hunt of the year. Temps this week are dropping 20-25 degrees, not looking good!

You'll get a few more hunts in Terry! We've had temps down in the teens overnight for a couple of nights, and we're still able to dig in the grass. As long as your daytimes get up there, you'll be able to dig. I'm looking forward to your "Year End" totals video. Should be impressive.

Cool thanks nice finds wont be long and the ground will be froze:cry: whats a guy to do all winter long

Incredible Injun Terry! The ring is a service ring for having a family member serving in harms way. Most likely WWII vintage. Sweet!
If you get down to the Tampa Bay area bring your Etrac and let me know. We hunt year around! ( not rubbing it in )

Very nice G4E, that Indian looks like it went from the mint to the ground. If that was your last hunt for the year, it was an awesome day. Congrats...
