Sudden Chatter on Equinox 800

I had some bad EMI on Sunday in a city park
I tried lowering the Sens. and a Noise Cancel but that did not help
I switched from Multi to 20khz and there was no EMI so I ran in that for a while.
Once I moved away about 30metres I switched back to Multi and all was good.
 
Hi Everyone:

First and foremost thank you all so much for the comments and suggestions! They are a real help. Based on all I have read I am simply dealing with EMI. I plan to hunt this weekend around the RV Park I live at. I am hoping to learn where the EMI is really bad and where it is tolerable. Like I said in my previous email I was finding lots of good stuff and want to continue. I am sure this will be an ongoing and fascinating learning experience for me. This forum has been beyond helpful. Again thank you all!
