Got out for awhile Sunday, had a great day covered a lot of categories for FOM.....see for yourself! The wheat's 1909,1913,1935,and 1942.The nickle is a 1955,the indianhead a 1904.The two little cone shaped things are "tinklers" The hearts are marked sterling, the spoon a "Rodgers" W.M. I think. Last but not least....the small coin in the two by two is .....yep another half dime!!!! The date is visible I'll let you know what it is at the meeting. Steve

It looks like you have been hunting in Indian country Steve, I would have had no idea what a tinkler was until Capt. Ron posted his a year or two ago. I will have to read up on them and find out why they are in a cone shape, unless you want to educate me?

Half dimes are always sweet finds and just a guess........... it is before 1874 and sure beats my 1881 IH for oldest.........

I have only been out twice since the last meeting so I'm short on finds this month but I expect a lot of nice displays with the nice weather before the monsoon came. See ya next Tuesday night and I get to see the 1/2 dime.

My word Steve, you're doing great and what a little honey spot. Great finds and I can't wait to see that half dime in person. What a super find. BIG congrats and HH, Nancy

You ARE the man, Mr. McLucky!! A really fine day, at that. So glad the date was visible. A pleasure to see that smile, too!
