With the temperature at 49 this afternoon, one day before another deep freeze, I thought I would give field hunting another go............. tough hunting.....:veryangry:...... The top couple of inches were thawed and the next 5 inches were ice but the exhausting walk through the mud had its reward in the end. 1851-O Half dime.......

I had the exact experience Saturday mud on top and frozen underneath for the most part of the day...and I got rewarded with a silver too a 1912-D Barber Dime.
