Life is good and this weekend I got out A LOT!! I don't post stuff too often here but I do enjoy looking all your finds! And since you are my E-Trac brothers and sisters I thought it's only right that I share as well!

Friday I had about an hour after work and found this Japanese(?) "token". Man, I almost had to dig to Japan for this one. Let's just say it was "E-Trac" deep!

Saturday I went out with some friends to a park in San Francisco.

Sunday I went back to SF with some other friends to a VERY big park that has been hunted by everyone with a metal detector since detectors were invented! :bouncy: I got my second ever SLQ, the first one I dug just last week so very cool! This ones a little hacked up but I think it still counts! :)

Great job!
How deep was the SLQ and how did it ID?

Thanks, I should have mentioned this. The readings were at 12/14 - 46/47 and the depth gauge was at about 5-6" inches. When I dug the plug I pulled out a clad quarter at the bottom, about 5". I re-scanned the hole and still heard a nice high tone (sorry didn't notice the numbers). I dug ANOTHER 3 inches down and there was the SLQ almost directly UNDER where the clad quarter was. Never expected that but I guess re-scanning the hole is really a good idea after all!!

you bet it still counts... good finds... congrats...
