if you were to run your ctx in a tot lot for coin and jewelry what settings would be best to minimize depth and trash.??

I would use lowered sensitivity in the high trash program. I usually stay in Auto but go to -3 in tot lots.

Great advice! Totally agree!

thanks for the info on the settings larry i let a friend use my other detector and i use the ctx,, we hit the bark today and both had fun. the settings you sugested work awesome. i ended up with 64 coins for total 5.59 a small wire bracelet and a silver key. i ended up jumping the sensitivity around and i ended up at -1 A which seemed to seperate things pretty good.. when i would hit a 3 inch quarter or dime the tone seemed really drawed out like i was in all metal.. i had it set at normal also the reticle would fill right up all red on those 3-4 inch targets... i m getting the pinpointing down also.. it would be right where you said. i think maybe i was running to hot originally and the target seemed huge... when it wasnt. all in all was afun day .. with some knowledge gained. . thanks again....HH
