Two Days with the Impulse AQ

East coast hunt. Two hours each day. Haven't been out in a while. Went All Metal and, based on the pics, dug just about everything. Really wanted to focus on depth and the AQ didn't disappoint. Happened on to an area with several quarters and found the 925 ring (CZ). Plenty of deep bottle caps to boot. The tent stakes are easy to identify based on shape (provided they are laying flat). Still having issues with the bottle caps as they sound like the crusty pennies. Overall, it was both fun and exhausting.

Nice! ... the bottle caps sound wider than good targets. Took me a while to distinguish it well enough to have confidence in picking out bottle caps. I still dig most of them but can call most of them now before digging.

I'll certainly keep that in mind as I will, in all likelihood, take the same approach next time. The one thing I did notice is the pull tabs. Definitely a soft tone. Well, that and extremely deep bottle caps.
