Vintage gas station............

While driving home from Devine, Texas this past Saturday, I saw a highway sign for Natalia, Texas. I was running late to get home, but decided to take the exit and make a quick tour of the little town. I had been experiencing rain showers all afternoon, and had not taken very many pictures and was hoping to find something interesting. Sure enough, I found this old gas station.

Interesting looking old gas station. It looks like it has been converted into a residence.

I live in Virginia and there is a gas station that looks like that in the back road off a main road. GREAT SHOT NICE POST

You take some amazing photos! The closest I was ever to Texas was Lafayette, Louisiana in 1996 for a job interview. (The actual job was in New Iberia and long story short, I didn't take the job ) After my interview, I wanted to go to Texas but I just didn't have the time. So you my friend have given me a "look" into Texas. Deep South is a world away from Crummy ol' Connecticut.(land of Tax U to Death) People are much more friendly there and the countryside was just breathtaking. Thank you for sharing. - Jim

Just read you were in Devine. You gotta be going there for a reason........because there is not a lot to do in Devine! Lol
My sister-in-law and her kids live there. Grandkids are in Hondo.
I've actually seen the old gas station in your picture........neat to see it from the eye of the lens!
I live on the coast in Angleton.

driving into Devine when down that way. Lots of history in the area, and Hondo is interesting to visit too! I now live in San Antonio. Kelley (Texas) :)
 
Most people IN the Deep South do not include Texas as a Deep South state. Yeah, they flew the Stars & Bars, but people over here are "different".
