WOW This Vision is E Z-er to operate then the DFX. I think it is going to be a peace of cake. V3 is like The DFX much much better.
How many have or had a DFX and think the V3 is E Z er to operate then the DFX.

The V is much easier to use, harder to master IMHO.............so much more to learn and use. BUT...........most of what you can do with the V will probably never be used by the average user, would be my guess.

It took me a solid month to even like the DFX and a year to learn most of it's features and adjust to optimum usage. The V right out of the box is head and shoulders above the DFX, again in my opinion.

.

The menu system, screen, and controls make the V much easier to configure than the DFX. In the filed, switching between programs and changing settings is also much easier... due to the live controls. The audio responses seem very similar to the DFX, but there's so much visual information on the V that target identification is much easier... and more fun.

The V system is intuitive but still a good load to remember - I think it's easier. I have used a DFX a few times but already have more hours on the V. The DFX is a friends machine that I have used. He now drools over my V.
He blew his tax return before he knew about the V. I told him that's what the plastic is for if the cash isn't abundant - he says he has a charge card - she's in charge:unsure:

Couldn't agree with you guys more. I'm still in getting used to it mode but everything about it is based on the same basic principles as the DFX. So much of the learning is just more of an adjustment curve, with one heck of a lot more good info, than a learning curve would be from a fresh start. Night hunting is MUCH better because of the huge screen.(That is when I have time to use this mostly.) Several things are needing to be learned, for it to behave completely for me, but they are starting to fall one by one. Still am wanting to run it with wired headphones to see how much of the audio differences are wireless oriented. Still using a dealers demo to learn but hey, I'll be up to mostly speed when I do get one and it has been smooth to adjust to. Having a lot of fun and feels like... "A Brand New Girlfriend"! Don't have it now so gonna put some lipstick on my DFX and do a night hunt. She's a good 'ole girl.

I'll let you know in about 3 days but having said that...based on watching the White's video's I'd say the V3 is going to be much easier.

I would have to say you have all about summed up the V3.A awsome machine as was the DFX that will take some time to use all of it power.Yazoo

I think those who operated the DFX will have an E Z-er time with the V3. It like having a head start in a race. Those who have not used the DFX will have a harder time with it, but in time they will get there. That my thoughts.
