Vision Locked Up Today:confused:

Battery about 3/4 charge when the V locked up in the Spectragraph screen with a VDI -93 showing. Pulling/pushing the trigger didn't help and none of the keys worked...including on/off.

Removed/re-installed the battery and it was "good to go".

Anyone else had this problem?

John, I had this happen to the V3!
I too had to remove the battery and reinstall it.

It only did it one time. Not sure if I had an "overload" condition or not?

Good Luck
Jerry

I've had a little different problem, which has happened a couple of times. Out of the blue it will turn off. Am guessing it was over a bigger "piece" that was overloading it, but, it shouldn't shut off should it? Thought I would just pass it along to you all. Turning it back on seemed to work okay.

Some of these strange things will just happen. There are essentially three computers, (CPU's) in the V3 system, and we are familiar with the strange and unexplained things computers do............

My Vision has never locked up, but me on the other hand...that's a different story.

Hi,

my V3 have few hours of use, and today in only one hour it Hung Up two times.
Pulling and pushing the trigger didn't help and none of the keys worked, removed the battery was the only solution.

I just got home from a three day hunt and my V3 locked up twice on me and battery removal solved it both times. I noticed that it locked up after sweeping over a large object, but I did not get an overload. One of my lock-up was strange that everything worked except the Analyze screen, the trigger forward acted like it was broken. The other time, the trigger did not work in pinpoint or Analyze but it still worked in scan. Sounds like another bug for White's........
