The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.

well....I noticed my ATP going crazy as i walked to the car(after it was turned off) from out of the lake. Sure enough it has water inside....GEEZ..second time. And no hot car at 7am with cloudy skies in my location
 
Just got off the phone with Garrett......its going back!.....and she informed me that they are making some changes.....no detatils on what...but she explained as i have on this forum, its a new product and they are going to work the bugs out and make it right.

Thanks.....there is so much area to cover out there...maybe if i buy another I can have one for each hand ,,,,,when their both working that is. Honestly.......the rings dont come easy! But if you hve the sickness like I do....lol (called GOLD FEVER)........you easily have the drive to keep swinging the little round disc. I tell ya....the small mouth bass that are spawning this yr are super aggressive. I try to stay at lease15-20ft away from their beds and some still come charging out to attack...lol The one actually kept banging against my cail as i stuck it out for a sheild...lol Some of these smallmouth are 5lb fish.....thats a nice smalley for sure...hell thats a nice LG mouth

I hope Garrett gets a fix for the AT because I am waiting for my new machine and it WILL be in the water 100% of the time when in use.
 
Before I bought the Pro I called Kellyco and they assured me there weren't any issues regarding this detector. I always plan a vacation around my detectors...what a let down worry all ready. I have backups but that is soooooo beside the point. Guess nothing is perfect right?
 
Garrett seems to be having a problem with their waterproofing of these units. It will be interesting to see what changes they come up with and how long it takes.
 
I was just on the phone with them but wasn't aware of this problem. What specifically did she say? Does Garrett feel there's an issue that must be fixed across the board?
 
Garrett hasn't made a statement that I know of Jamie. Just so much repeated send backs being posted that we fear putting her in the water. It maybe uncalled for worry. Hopefully Garrett can let you know something that you can share with us. We'd all like some reassurance on this one! We know we have a great land machine ...easy to run and pretty darn powerful. The chatter about leaking models coming right after the falsing issues could damper some sales. I'm not trashing the machine. I like it well so far. Just worried.

I showed them this thread. We need to get one back to them so they can assess. Is anyone sending one back currently?
 
I have been assured that the fix is in...so we will see. I sent mine out today and this is the second time(diff unit). Very careful use!! I think maybe it may be in the push buttons as it was when i went to shut the unit down it went crazy and just before that under water the pin-point was acting strange(another button pushed but under water)
