Water Proof CTX

I hope this is not to stupid but the box shows the CTX underwater with the headphone adapter on and the directions say to install the plastic plug and that the headphone adapter is not waterproof So the first pic is waterproof or the second.

The underwater picture is misleading, do as they say not what they do. The headphone adaptor is not waterproof.
