Wednesday hunt in the drizzle got me some silver...injuns..jewelry...and a head cold:detecting:

realize the little gun was a roy Rogers until somebody pointed it out to me:detecting: Now I can see the RR on the handle...but yesterday i was running late for work...and just plopped everything on the scanner:crylol:

rushing around so much yesterday...I just plopped them on the scanner. I got 1 band which I believe is copper....and a crunched sterling silver ring.. The little oval shaped item with the purple stone is a 12K gold filled cuff link or a brooch with the pin part or cufflink hook part broken off in the back.
That little slick, round silver item that looks like a slug is a "squeeze back" sterling silver back to a stick pin or big earring. The navy ring is pretty cool and according to the info James ND provided...was made back in the 50's.
The little gun is a Roy Rogers miniature.

Plow Works on it? That's what the Pic is on it, a Plow, so I would imagine that's what it says. Very Cool J.I. Case Item none the less. Hope your feeling better for the upcoming hunt with Coinmagnet. Good Luck and HH!:thumbup:

exactly what it says. I thought it said JA Case...but you are 100% right...it says "JI Case...Plow works"

I hope to someday be able to make that hunt...but everything will hinge on my dad's health. I would love to try my luck at landing one of those old colonial coppers. :thumbup: Take care...and I hope you get some more hunting in before the ground freezes on us.
