I just ordered my Etrac! I have been using an XT-70 and have enjoyed it... and I'm so looking forward to going back over a few favorite haunts....

I ordered the unit with one additional coil to start the 6X8 SEF....

I can't wait to make my first finds post in this forum

Do not worry about the learning curve. I have been detecting for over 25 years. This machine is very easy to learn and very stable. Use Andy's coin program, make a few adjustments to your conditions and you will be making good finds. Remember to slow your hunt down.

There's a lot of experienced ET owner's in this forum that will be here to answer your questions.
I only have about 25 hours on mine and I really like it.

One thing that's helped me a lot is that I always carry a little pocket notebook with me when I'm hunting.
This way I have ET settings, target numbers, notes from Andy's book and other forum member's, etc.
I can also enter target FE & Co number's that I just dug - sure been a GREAT learning tool !
