Twice a year..almost like clock work..mid summer and mid winter we have some kind of squabble. No one is doing much hunting so it turns to other subjects. It might be fishing, cooking, gambling, religion and yes even politics. Now, this has been a extremely successful forum for I guess 10 yrs. now and I would have to say that it has worked pretty good the way it is. We're not all alike, but we all have similar likes. I don't think anyone can or should dictate what others post. If ya can't take the heat..well you know the rest. I usually reply to most everyone's post, even if I'm not interested in the subject, I'm interested in what the person has to say. I don't have to agree and I don't feel I have to argue with them about it. If we all argued with what someone else thought or posted that we didn't agree with then it would probably be a full time free for all. This whole post in my opinion accomplished nothing but start a unnecessary argument with the potential to hurt a lot of feelings for NO good reason. This forum is what it is and the posters are who they are. We're all grown and we've know each other long enough to know what each of us pretty much stand for, we aren't going to change anyone. If you leave because you don't like whats being posted then this is not the place for you anyway. The only person I know that left was because she didn't like the fact that most of us don't believe in supporting people that don't take responsibility for themselves or their children. At least she had the guts to tell us up front she was leaving and why. I would like to see the forum go back to the old photo shop days where we all made fun of each other but I don't think thats going to happen, but I still think its the best forum going. I for one am not going anywhere nor will I be intimidated into not saying something because it might not be politically correct. I think the forum is fine exactly the way it is.

I say we started digging this bullet out, lets finish it, cause I ain't tip toeing around here worrying about hurting some ones feeling because I posted a factual news article or truthful political commentary. If anyone doesn't care for my post, nobody is twisting your arm to read it. Don't read a political post then come to Ray complaining that you read a political post ~ DUH!
