Why can't XP Deus make a good salt water program?

I have played around with the Wet program and nothing seems really good, not much depth and a lot of interference , won't quiet down enough to hear if a signal is hit or not. I have turned audio up, slowed down reactivity down and much more, will only pick up a penny at about 2". I detect on the west coast, have a pi machine but its too heavy and would really like to just us the Deus.

I had heard that deus was working on a great program for salt water, don't know if that was speculation or not, sure hope they do that would make this machine "cook".

If anyone has a better program to try i would really like to use it to see if it work on the west coast.

Hi the Deus struggles in saltwater beaches I hunt them a lot are you using a LF coil? Here is one program I use and dig some deep coins with it
It’s an air test video but it works well for me..

Where is the post of your settings?

Here you go

Using either wet or dry beach

Correct me if I'm wrong but from what I've read ...

Single frequency machines ( including the Deus ) will never be top performers on wet beaches.
Salt water and wet beaches is where the multi frequency detectors with "FBS" and "PI" machines really excel.

I don't do a lot of beach hunting but when I do - I try to stay on the dry sand - this seems to really help.

Digger, are you setting your Ground B to beach mode? Just to put the Deus in beach mode, you need to set G.B. to beach. There is two setting, one for hunting ground and one for beach.

Yes the FBS machines are way better on beaches stability wise

Not exactly sure what you are saying, using the wet beach program, gb beach on yes. i also pump gb at the wet sand. If not doing this right please elaborate.

Thanks

Digger, I was hunting North C. Myrtle Beach and using Gold field and getting ear ring backs that if I did"t have my pinpointer I could not find so small. These were about 2" deep or so. I had no trouble with the Deus on the wet beach. Be sure to put in beach mode before putting in Gold Field.
