xp deus on the way

I have a new to me xp deus on the way. Any advise on getting started?

Read Andy's book, watch XP Deus classroom videos. Be patient with yourself while learning it.. Good Luck and have fun

Stick to the basic programs that are programed on the Deus, learn them and take your time. you can get over come by all the videos that show new programs and different tones, just put some hours in and then start experimenting

The people that sell them right after purchasing are the ones that get over whelmed and think the Deus is not for them, it is a great detector.

Good Luck

Go into the Deus Fast program, change the Khz from 17 to 12. Go into the disc and change the disc to -2.5 to -3 if ver4. If 3.2 leave it at 0 or 1. Change tones to full tones. Set reactivity to 2.5 ver4 or 2 for ver3.2. Got to your favorite places to hunt and dig all good sounding tones until you learn the pattern full tones is telling you. If your having a problem with bottlecaps back your coil off while sweeping and when it gets to the edge you will usually get iron grunts. Raise your coil up on the target and if the TID number drops down its usually junk etc.. good luck and have fun.
