Xterra Pro Beach Mode - is Minelab hiding its Dual Frequency?

How does the unit feel. I have had problems with my hand with the 800 . Long duration hunts suck. My hand gets sore. I put a 15 ounce counter weight milled to slide in the shaft. Perfectly balanced but it hurts my thumb and for finger. I was thinking about wrapping it with what I used on antenna connectors for keeping moisture out.. any thoughts. Very capable machine though.
I'm used to heavier machines so the pro feels like I'm not swinging anything......the grip is comfortable(for me) over long periods and it feels very well balanced.......this is with the standard coil so I couldn't say with heavier coils.Standard coil is good enough for me.......its got great depth on the wet sand.

I sold my 800 mostly because I hated how it swung. I have no problem using the Manticore even with the 11”. I was considering the elite.
FWIW, I recently picked up an X-Terra Elite to augment my Sovereign Elite. On my Sovereign, the distance between the grip and arm cuff is fixed, so can't adjust. But on the X-Terra Elite, I can flip a little toggle and move the hand grip/control box either closer or further away, thereby giving me an opportunity to find the right location that's most comfortable for my arm.

Once found, I flip the toggle back in and the grip/control locks back to the shaft. Pretty clever and allows everyone to customize their grip based on length of their arm or coils they might be swinging.
